Get the right gym-wear

- The gym-wear should be fashionable and exercise-friendly.
- The shoes should support the kind of exercise one is doing.
- My exercise kit is always in my car!

Eat right

- Exercising and eating junk food don't go together.
- Have apples and egg whites. I eat around six egg whites a day, sometimes at one go.
- I like to have a huge breakfast that includes porridge, eggs, toast and fruits.
- After a heavy workout, it's important to have some fluids and proteins.

Breathe easy

- To get any kind of effect, such as losing fat or toning up the muscles, it's important to inhale and exhale correctly. Breathing right is half the trick done.

Dos and Don'ts of Gyming

- Start gym sessions with a warm-up. This helps avoid injuries. Your muscles and joints need to be warmed up.
- Never work out when feeling sick.
- If too stressed, just do a bit of cardio. Walking is a good idea.
- Never talk while exercising.
- Avoid make-up during gym sessions.
